About

Originally from New York, and now living in Alaska for the last nine years; John is definitely a rebellious fish out of water, and his comedy style shows it. From his military background to his marriage, nothing is sacred.
Stand-up comedy and acting has always been his first love. In College he was involved in several comedy plays and musicals and performed at local theaters. As a young man he knew himself well enough that he did not have the focus and self control to pursue it as a profession.
John spent several years in the Army and after his discharge continued working various jobs, but the stage kept calling to him. In 2009, He decided that he was tired of working at jobs that his heart was just not into anymore. With much coaxing from the wife and several friends, he went to an Open-mic at a local club which in turn opened the door for him to enter the Make Alaska Laugh Stand Up Comedy Contest in which he did quite well considering it was only his second time on stage in more than fifteen years.
Since then he has continued to perform in various clubs in Alaska and has had the pleasure of working with comedians like Marc Ryan, Dwight Slade, Kyle Grooms, Yoursie Thomas, Geno Bisconte, and Carl Labove.
John said; “I have finally returned to my first love, and I have been having a BLAST ever since”.
